How we have helped people
Call us if you are unsure how to proceed to get a custom glove. We have a lot of experience and explain to you what to do or relieve you of bureaucratic tasks.
We know that many patients are depressed after the amputation of fingers, phalanges or hand parts and do not know what to do at first. But there are possibilities so that you can participate actively in life again soon.
What happens after medical care?
After being discharged from hospital, finger amputees are often left alone, as this call for help, which I received by e-mail, shows.
"Hello Mr. Wappler,
I need help urgently. After a finger amputation no more gloves fit me. Since then my hand has been very sensitive to shock and cold. I don't find any support anywhere. Out of necessity I pull a sock over my hand, but that doesn't help in the cold, nor does it protect me at work. …“

We were able to help the patient by explaining the procedure. First of all, it was important for him to get a prescription from his doctor so that the health insurance company could pay for the perfect fitting glove. And for the winter we made him heatable gloves that warm sensitive areas of the skin during the cold season.
Here you can see examples of gloves according to the measurements of our customers:
